I never go anywhere without my crucifix or the silver dollar that I bought the day my sons were born.

The crucifix is to keep the vampires at bay.

The silver dollar is to remind me that Thing 1 and Thing 2 are priceless.

When eating fast food, I always carefully fold the wrappers, tuck them into the fry cup, flatten the fry cup, and stuff the fry cup into my drink cup when I'm done, putting the lid on the drink cup before throwing my garbage out. No superstition involved, I just can't stop myself from doing that.

the only superstitious thing I do is knock on wood.

hmm, kinda but maybe not really, more like good luck charms...

I keep one of those "gold" U.S. dollar coins, saqa something or other, and a "dollar" coin from my home country with me where ever I go. that way I've always got $1.12 on me. (Quetzals are only worth $.12 compared to U.S. dollars). Seriously I keep them both to remind me wherever I am, that my heart is in both countries. Also I feel like if I don't have them, something seriously could happen to me that I dont' really want to happen.

Does that count?

Other than that, I ALWAYS tie my right shoe first.

I have a necklace that my brother in law made for me. I have to have it with me at all times. When I had some work done on my neck, I kept it in my pocket until I could wear it again. I have a weird way, according to my family, of lacing my shoes. Every pair of shoes I have MUST be laced the same way. I also have several of my son's favorite shirts, I wear one of them every time I do any kind of an interview. When I clean my apartment, I clean it in the same order every time. I am either very superstitious or have a type of obsessive compulsive disorder.

I always pick the same numbers

I do most things in a specific order...hard to explain:
ie. when eating have a particular order of eating a bite of this, a bite of that, & my different foods cant touch each other. I am a whacko. Actually, its not a superstition, I AM JUST ANAL RETENTIVE!

I always cross myself when passing a catholic church--he, us sex fiends/perverts gotta make peace with the big guy at every chance...LOL
