What summer movie do you want to see the most?

I keep seeing all these articles, hyping the films this summer as one of the best selections ever. So I was curious as to what everyone here is looking forward to. To kick things off the two films I want to see the most on the big screen are: Live free or Die Hard and Transformers.

28 Weeks Later . . . BIG TIME ;)
Omg, me too! :nana:

I saw about two seconds of the trailer and I need to see it right now. 28 Days Later is one of my favorite movies.

I wanna see Transformers too, can't wait.

My friends always told me the first one was no good. Should I flog them and check it out?

Tell 'em to bite it and rent the extended DVD. ;)

I loved the church scene. Really set the tone for the whole movie.

Hey, anything with Robert Carlyle in it can't be bad. He became one of my favorite actors after Plunkett & MacLeane.

I'll have to do that. It's hard to find many good non-slasher thriller films.

I only know a handful of movies that are coming out this summer. I'd need to see a list of what else will be out before compiling an extensive list (that would probably only be three movies at most ;) )

But for now, I'm probably only going to see the third Pirates of the Carabian movie. I'm not really planning on anything else right now.

Any movie would work for me as long as I actually get to leave the house to see it :D Though I'm in agreement would love to see 28 weeks later...saw the trailer yesterday. :nana:

Oh there's a million of them coming out...

Spiderman 3
Shrek 3
Pirates of the Caribbean 3
Ocean's 13 (which is essentially Oceans 3)
Fantastic Four 2
Die Hard 4
Transformers
Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix
The Simpsons Movie
The Bourne Ultimatum
Hostel 2

To name a few...

Of course I'm looking forward to Transformers. :p It was pretty obvious what I was going to pick. :p

Other than that I'd say Spidey 3, and Harry Potter. Then I'd definitely want to see Shrek 3, Simpsons and FF2.

Saw an ad at the movie theater for FF2 and TF. The FF2 one had this huge model of Silver Surfer. I want that in my room. :p Not that it'd fit.

My list would include: Pirates 3, Harry Potter Next, Die Hard 4, Bourne Ultimatum, and Shrek 3.

I'll see ALL of them, but my main heat are: Shrek the Third, Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End and Transformers!

There might not be a summer like this one again for a while. It's a smorgasbord of heavyweight hitting popcorn flicks EVERY MONTH and they're ALL good. Better enjoy yourself!

I didn't know a new Bourne was coming out this summer. I'll probbaly see that.

The movie I'd like to see this summer is the one where my home repairs are finished, the yard is re-sodded, and Global Cooling hits South Florida.

I forget what it's called. George Clooney is in it.

The preview's up on yahoo movies and it looks really good. It's probably the main film Script and I will see in august.

Script went to see Spider-man tonight with some friends, so she can tell us how it was later. I've seen mixed reviews so far.

I really enjoyed it. :) Going to see it again with Dark in a couple of days. I think they did a good job tying in a huge amount of plot and making it work.

Wouldn't we all love to be so lucky as to be able to do that?

Ah, but we don't have to limit ourselves with the length of our works like a movie does ;)

I'm with Liar on Stardust...Word of Mouth that's gotten to me indicates the film is being mis-marketed, though. They're overemphasizing the action side... this is no mindless action film, it's more character driven.

I do want to see Pirates, Shrek, Potter and Spidey...
