What story is this please

I'm trying to find a story I read a few years back and probably not on this site.

I can't remember much about it but it's about a young woman who gets abducted maybe when she's vacation I can't remember and she is kept in a cell or cage by a gang of mercenaries or such guys. They misuse her and feed her badly and in the cell next to her is a man whose a government agent maybe the CIA or FBI and he tells her to phone a certain number if she gets free.

She is moved or sold to a brothel and gets forced to work as a prostitute and I think she meets him later when he and his team raid were she works.

I'm sorry I can't remember more than that, it might or might not be set in a country in south America, it was a fairly long story and it might have been more than a decade since I read it.

That's actually why I'm trying to find it. I read it years ago and it wasn't what I was expecting it to be, it was genuinely a violent, nasty story so I didn't bother finishing it, but I know I skipped along (it was a long story) to see if it turned out to be a fantasy or something, but I can't remember how it turned out.

I hadn't thought about it in years but last night I think I dreamt about reading the story, so now I want to find out how it ends, hopefully it's a good ending, but I'm not too hopeful. I do know it was a story on the internet, not a real paperback novel or anything, but I've no idea what web site it was on, or when I read it.
