While I was out today, after zipping around town on errands, I stopped by Wendy's for lunch. Lo and behold, on the sign are Snoopy toys. My brain said *MUST HAVE SNOOPY*. I ordered and pulled up to window number 1. The girl did not speak English well enough to know who Snoopy is. Thanks anyway, Have a nice day.
I told the guy at window number 2 that I wanted to buy the Snoopy but not the kids meal. Apparently he is a graduate of Towing the Line University and said NO! The manager overheard, comes over all smiles, said "Here it is, no charge, have a nice day!" WOOHOO! All I had to do was smile, say please and thank you and I got my Snoopy gratis.
I'm sure there's customer service moral in there somewhere
