What should be in a noncon disclaimer?

I’ve not written for the noncon category, but I’d think readers there won’t need a disclaimer. They know what to expect.

Saying you don’t condone rape is kind of a given. If it makes you feel more comfortable, by all means, include a disclaimer about it. At the end of the day, the little paragraph you put at the top is unlikely to affect a reader’s enjoyment of your story. No reason not to do it if you feel strongly about it (and judging by your post, I think you’d rather add the disclaimer than not).

I wouldn't bother with a disclaimer. The category is self-evident, and if readers are going to be triggered, they shouldn't be reading there.

It's a bit like putting a sign on a building saying, this is a building. What's the point?

Keep it simple, e.g.,:

Content Warning: Incest, Non-Con; all characters 18+

Hello,

My story is non-con and the last thing I want to do is upset someone/trigger a trauma. The story will be uploaded in the non-con category. What points should I definitely (not) mention in my disclaimer?

I've taken some inspiration from other disclaimers and this is what I have right now.

*DISCLAIMER - Please do not skip this!*
Please be aware that this story is in the Nonconsensual/Reluctant category. This story includes scenes of graphic non-consensual sex that some readers may find unsettling. I do not condone rape in any form. This is merely a fantasy of mine. This is my first story so all criticism is appreciated but please be nice.

I really like the approach you've already taken. Heck, I'd add the part about how you want to make sure a reader isn't triggered by your content.

I think that's such a lovely way of trying to make sure that potential readers feel safe ... and then they/you can focus on the yummy details of your writing!

true. some dickheads will get all bent up and offended on purpose regardless of any disclaimer or preamble. i think some of thems just loves it.

As a noncon reader and occasional writer, I skip the disclaimer - both when reading and writing.

In my bio I do advise my readers to check tags before reading my stories because some of mine are very soft and romanitc and others are rough degrading noncon. Then, I make sure to tag anything that could be a trigger.

As a reader, if I'm worried about reading a long story I might not like, I check the category and tags and that's sufficient.

If you feel a responsibility to add a disclaimer, then I think the one you drafted is fine. It's courteous, without giving anything specific in the story away. But it doesn't add much. The category "non-con" is a tip off that the story is about nonconsensual sex. People who might be triggered probably will steer clear of it.

The thing with disclaimers is to keep them really short and to the point. ;)

SRSLY though, I started out using disclaimers like this on Lit, but I wouldn't now spend time apologizing for the category or the kink. It's redundant, as others have pointed out, and it won't stop people from showing up to attempt a kink-shaming routine anyway (so be prepared for that). If there's further specific content beyond the general category that might be triggering or troubling, I do still include that in a disclaimer just as a service to the reader.

The following disclaimer appears before some hardcore (video) pornography:

"The performance you are about to watch is meant for entertainment purposes only. It should not be seen as a model for real-life sexual encounters. We recommend honest, clear and ongoing communication with your partner(s) before any sexual encounter... Please have fun, respect each other, and practice safer sex."

Feels elegant and all-encompassing to me. Maybe change the wording a little and you're golden?

When I do a rape story, I include this line in the disclaimer, "This story does not condone rape, spontaneous sexual encounters with strangers, or unprotected sex."

Unfortunately, I also included a line about incest which isn't in the story. I should change the disclaimer, but have been frying a lot of fish of late and didn't realize I had the unnecessary incest warning until yesterday.

If there’s non-con content in, say, a Romance or a Sci-Fi story or whatever, then you definitely need a warning. It’s actually mere good manners, preventing somebody from being ambushed by something unexpected. On the other hand, if it’s posted in Non-Con, then I see no need.
