What scares you?

Snakes... Bee's.... Rats.... Spiders....
and any movies or TV shows about the above lol

I'ma kick his ass!!!!!

I fear nothing.

I don't fear spiders, I hate them. I don't fear wasps, I hate wasps. I don't fear megalomaniacal psychotic brutish men who outweigh me 2 to 1 and brandish chain saws and other assorted implements of what's surely to be a painful destruction. I hate them.

I am channelling the StudMuffin today.

Flying, but I'm better. I use lots of breathing exercises and a stiff drink. Or two.

I am only scared of them because I am allergic to their stings, bees and other stining insects. I blow up like a Stay Puff Marshmellow man if I get stung and if I don't have my anti-venom kit or pills it could be fatal. YIKES....other than those I am not scared of too much. I like watching insects do their web weaving and work, especially on the specials on Discovery Channel.

Spiders...Well, bugs in general and the dark. I still have a night light in the bathroom.

Gunk....goo.....whatever you wanna call it. That stuff thats stuck in the sink drain after you do dishes.....wet lint that gets trapped in the washer out take valve....the gunk that seems to attach itself to the very bottom of a trashcan....ewwwwwww <shiver>

Spiders and that hair clog that builds up in the shower drain. :::shudder:::

What scares me:

--The thought that I might screw up my kids
--Getting to a point years from now and thinking I wasted my life.
--A dripping showerhead in the middle of the night. (Remember that creepy ghost story they told about that at sleepovers???)
--Stephen King horror novels
--Getting rejected

What scares me? Stupidity. And there's too much of it going around.

Oh, yeah, and the fucking clown pic that Dillinger posted on my Scariest of the Scary thread. Thanks, Dill! Now I can't even go to my own thread without being creeped out! LOL

Amen to the stupidity thing.

Spiders? Ha!

One time, when I worked at a camp in the mountains, the staff had a night off and wanted to go out to dinner, but I was really tired so I said I would stay behind and watch the camp. After everyone was gone, I realized to take a shower I had to go outside in the pitch black into an area where I knew for a fact there were bears and mountain lions ALL BY MYSELF with no one for miles around. Yeah, that was scary.

Excuse me, I have to go hug my security blanky.

What is it with the fear of clowns?? Did Pennywise scare you to death?? I collect clowns. Lots of them. I even have one on a charm on my neck. Cute little fella holding balloons. And on a watch too.

The one major thing I dont like, I guess you could sa I have a fear of is being in the woods, alone, at night, when there is no moon. That is creepy.

What scares me ...

Spiders, cockroaches, bugs of any kind, heights, water (I fear drowning more than anything else), mice, snakes.

Fear is something we can all overcome, but it still exists and it does rule our lives when we see something that we do fear.

I know that when we take my son down to see the big Ocean liners in port, I am the most fearful person ever, My dad had this real bad habit of driving extremely close to the edge, and well my fear takes over, I panic then I get angry because he does it just to annoy me.

Spiders are the worse for me, a small one I can handle, but when they get big and furry, I actually hyperventilate because I panic so very much, then of course I get mad at myself for letting them get to me and I end up in tears.

I swear this mouse we had once was laughing at me, I had myself and my son in the middle of the breakfast bar, calling my Dad to come get it out of the house, I stayed there too until he came home an hour later.

LOL I can laugh about it when writing it down, but, it does affect me, and I hate when people make fun of someone because they have a fear, it may not be of spiders or what not, but everyone has a fear somewhere deep inside them. It may just be that they don't want to be alone forever, but we all have fears.

Having to walk to my car in an underground parking lot - especially at night when it's not as crowded.
