What program will change my pictures?

Does anyone know what program would change .art files to .jpg?

I can preview, but not open the .art files on my computer, so I can't even "save as" and choose another extension.

My paint program doesn't recognize them at all. I'd REALLY like to use some of these pictures, but in a different format.

Any ideas? Thanks!

Try irfanview. It is small and does the job. Just do a search for it.

.ART files are a proprietary image format for AOL.

The wayI convert them is to open them with EI5.01 and choose Save As .BMP -- then I can open them with PaintShop Pro or IrfanView to convert them to JPeg or other formats.

You may need to download "Art File Support" from microsofts update site to be ble to use "Save As" -- I think it's included in IE6 and up, but the support module is needed for IE5.x

I was on aol a looooooong time ago, but I think these were sent to me. I forget now, but they've been in my "get around to it" folder for a long time and I'd like to use them.
