Not a letter
Just a number
All better.
What? But, it doesn’t matter
It’s an intimate act
Exhibitionist’s fetter
Many minds, they can splatter
Scores all over the board
(without saying a word)
And the average is lord
Quick! Give them what they all want
Gold, or silver, or better,
Smut and porn,
YES! The latter!
Damn, I just want a score
for my poem
Of 5 (or more).

Bring the criticism, comments, praise. I also accept Visa and Mastercard, but not Discover.

I see this as a wonderful wry comment, on the prevailing attitude, of I exist and therefor deserve to be rewarded. However I haven't seen you name on any comments, so I'm not sure you have escaped that worst social disease of this century, self absorption, characterized by an extreme lack of awareness that unless you get involved, you won't ever exist.

In other words, what have you done, how many comments have you left, what did you miss?

Fair enough.
I edit stories for lit, so my comments you will never see, 'cause they're heeded by the authors (most of the time).
This particular little rant poem....it's not a 5. I just keep going to my page and looking at the numbers...but they don't matter, really, but I still keep looking at them.
