What pissed you off today? Mark II

I feel like I'm coming down with a cold and I have things to do, places to be, wine to drink.

Weekend plans being cancelled because the weather is rubbish

That really sucks, I'm sorry :(.

I don't get grown up time much in our situation so any time I see plans canceled I feel really bad. I work REALLY hard to get time away every once in a while.

Hope something else works out for you this weekend :rose:.

RACIST fucks who let go a submissive from her job because they felt she did not fit in with "The clientele our shop attracts."

She's mixed race - Caribbean and Canadian - and most of their "people" are rich fucks from the 'burbs.

I am sorry somthing has pushed you to the brink of violence. The hole in my wall proves everyone has a limit.

I keep wondering if the one punched by "Papa Nes" in place of Kirshner is still there.

Been looking for something to do since late-July short-but-annoying hospital trip. (Broke my 1200-plus-consecutive-day streak out of them.) Mentioned today musician I liked had local concert later in month, but their site & T-master said it was sold out. Father hopped on phone, said someone else told him tix were available. I repeated sites I trusted more said otherwise; He dialed again, & held phone out to me. (Never mind I have no transport & he never offered to be it, so tix or not, I couldn't get there.)

1) Extremely selfish timewasters.

2) A friend who had a trading licence has been served with fines for 2 days of trading without a licence, both of which are within the period (of a few months) that he knows he had the licence for. There's no right of appeal and the fines are hefty.

The second person this week who was a "no show" for a meet-up with no subsequent contact or explanation, despite me investing a fair bit of my time in helping them previously.

I gather from others, though, that this scenario is extremely common with online people, so at least it probably isn't personal.

Thank you :rose:

I remember from when my two were small, how hard it seemed to schedule anything that was just for us adults, so I feel for you when I see you post about your plans being disrupted.

And today the weather cheered up so we managed to rescue part of the plan, and I'm viewing the things we missed as a pleasure deferred, rather than lost forever :)

Clearly #2 is wrong about what they claim they know, making them yet another of #1.

Arrived at work early (5 am)to catch up on some work.

Can't unlock the gate to get in - key is turning but the lock isn't moving.

So I'm now sitting in my car waiting for someone else to turn up to give it a try.

I could have stayed in bed. Great start to the week...

Knowing today is a holiday, & many places are therefore having sales... Yet many places also are closed for the same reason.

Don't know which are former, latter, or both. Also, probably counts with weekend spent/withdrawal via ATM, so issues with paying rent, cable, etc.

Sitting on the next table are 3 businessmen. They are all talking at a level that is a fraction below shouting.

I don't know whether this is because they are trying to sort out which of them is the alpha male, or whether they want everyone to hear their negotiations and marvel at their business acumen. But I've been on my feet for more hours than I care to think of and I just wanted a few minutes of peace and quiet to enjoy a 15 minute lunch.

Pillocks

What is pillocks?

Pillocks wasn't actually the first term that came into my head, but I toned it down

So I chose a bit of northern vernacular to illustrate my mood!

Some people are just loud. Masters family are loud people. After we visit them I feel like I'd been shouting the whole time just to be heard over everyone else's yelling. When they visit us and then leave I always realize how loud they are by their quiet absence. Master is generally quiet unless he gets really excited about something, then his volume gradually grows as he talks
