Those look like panties to me, especially in sexy silk. But they are advertised as men's underwear? For you boys who like to play dress up in panties, are those panties? Or do they have to be underwear that was made for a woman to really excite you?

(Same question applies to various sites who advertise "man panties", sissied-up underwear but cut to fit a man's anatomy more...)

I like nice underwear, but don't wear women's panties (not that I haven't tried them on for some fun, but don't wear them jsut to wear them). All ruffled up sitting there they look like panties, but would have to see how they fit when worn to say for sure. One key difference is the shaping of the front. I have silk thongs made for men. Look like they could be panties till you look close and see that the front is cupped out to hold the package, where as panties are flat.
There are special excceptions to this though. I've seen some frilly, lacey panties that are cut to fit a man, but they were made for crossdressers.

For me the biggest thing is the femininity -- a bit of lace or frill, something that says strongly, "this is girly." Panties actually made for women have the benefit of helping me get a flatter look (though the whole art of "tucking" is still more or less beyond me), there are lots of panties made expressly for men that I'd love to wear -- a lot of what they have at xdress.com, for example.
