What made you smile today?

I like reading threads like this.

My kids made me smile today when they crept into my bedroom this morning and were about to jump on the bed to scare my SO and I. But we heard them first and both jumped up and scared them first

This happened yesterday - I got so many veiws on my Slut Girl post I ran out of bandwidth!

Oh yeah I ofund out today that WarCraft 3 will be released in time for my birthday! Oh happy day!

Making someone else smile this morning with a little surprise, made me definitely smile and then some!

The fact that it isn't snowing outside today....that made me smile.

offline-waking up to no snow.. feeling the warmth of the one I love next to me in bed and watching my daughter learn how to ride her bike with no training wheels.


Now i'm off to walk the dogs and finish cleaning house..

I smiled when I got to wake up with my SO this morning, when he got up and let the dogs out so that I could snuggle under the blankets for just a few more minutes. And I smiled when he brought me roses for no particular reason.

As most of you know, I work in a toystore, and we celibrated Barbie's birthday today. I totally forgot today was Barbi day, and rather than wearing pink like all the female associates where told to, I came in in my "Barbie is dead.... and I killed her" shirt!

Oh what a wonderful day.

A day full of smiles

I smiled this morning when I woke up, because I woke up. I smiled when the birds announced the dawning of a new day. I smiled when the sun arose and limned all the surroundings with the subtle pastels of dawn. I smiled when I read my e-mails. I smiled when went to the local store and met with my friends from the neighborhood. I smiled when an old friend called. I'm smiling as I write this and because I can look forward to doing it all over again tomorrow.
