The story has to have characters that are real. There must be a decent plot. And element of science fiction or fantasy is great. Grab me with the first sentence and keep me interested. Decent sex is good. The story shouldn't need it, its just candy for my libido. I prefer longer stories. Novels or novella's.

I've thought about this. You are really asking in the wrong forum. The people who regularly hang in here have been around for a while and are writers.

You need to ask what the readers like. That's a different question altogether.

Now that I think of it, there isn't a single forum you can ask. Ask in the GB and you'll get flamed. Ask in the AH and you get the writer's answers. Ask in the personals and you'll get a bunch of people in your PM box looking for sex - fuck the story. So there ya go.

You could try the Story Ideas forum though.

I'm a bit of a snob because I tend to click on ones that are rated as hot. If If the story doesn't get interesting fast, I go find something else. I've read some really well written stories on here & tend to lean toward the ones that are well written rather than a genre.

I absolutely *love* professor/student love/sex stories. The same goes for teacher/student...although usually for it to work for me it has to be male professor; the student can be either male or female.

I've run into the same problem (a lack of really good professor/student stories). I started writing my own...you should try that too and do us all a huge imaginary favor.
