RPG style, eh? My list would have to be...

Fantasy (inc. D&D style): 50%
Sci-fi: 30%
Supernatural: 20%

One post...thats it. At least you reminded me of sci-fi rpgs...dont know how I could have forgotten about them. *slaps self* Bad!!!

It might help if you joined a thread

Fantasy
Sci Fi
DnD

I'm in Frosthold, Darkness falls, and X men

It's okay Ankara brings to my attention another catagory, fanfic. Those can either be alot of fun or an insane pain.

I enjoy high powered combat and interesting characters / concepts. So my list:

Superhero
Sci fi
DnD
Other Fantasy
supernatural
reality
war any kind.

Right now I am in the mood for Mecha.

my list is a little wierd

Anime
SciFi
celebrity
Dragonlance

Mecha sounds good right about now

Sci-fi and DnD seem to be the big ones....Have any of you ever played online modern DnD? It can be played easily in these forums and I can easily get the rules for it, or we can play ruleless and free play it. Anyone intrested in a futuristic modern game of DnD please raise their hands. :) Or if you perfer something else please let me know.

*Raises hand*

Well everyone has heard about classic DnD. Modern DnD follows the same rules with minor changes but takes place in the present or future. Since everyone who shared what they liked said either sci-fi dnd or both, I figured it would be a good fit.

This should help a little.....

All you need to know is in those two links...any more questons please feel free to ask.

So does that mean your intrested? If we get together at least 3-5 people we can start a game.

Wait d20 modern, does this mean I can't use my copy of the magic of icarum?

How about weapons of legacy?

Well typically theres no magic in modern dnd or weapons that arnt around now or could be around in the future. BUT i'm not opposed to putting a fantasy twist into a modern dnd setting. It depends on who decides to join and what everyone thinks about the idea. Once we get 3-5 people we can discuse more deeply how the game will be set up. As for now anyone intrested in a modern dnd game with a possable fantasy twist please say so. The first 3 will have say as to how its set up and the rest can join at their will.

So you and the next five people who sign up will think up the story line?

Next 3... But yeah basically. I got many ideas in mind but I know alot of people like alot of different things. So haveing the players choose what they want makes the game go along alot smoother I think. Do you want to play? If so tell me what you want the game to have in it and if it should or should not have a fantasy twist.

I'm interested, but im new here, ive heard of dnd but havent a clue how to play. If someone gave me a quick lowdown Id be game for the modern version!
xo

spyinthesky06 I posted two links to help everyone understand how it works...

If you roleplayed before DnD is not hard its basically roleplaying with rules. The hardest part would be makeing a character and I can help anyone who needs help with that. Once the character is made the host does the rest and you just sit back and roleplay. So once we start the game anyone who hasent played before or has but only once or twice, please ask me for any help. I started not knowing a thing about dnd and now I host games on the regular. I havent played very many games maybe 3 dozen in all and all but one were online. Its easy to learn trust me on that fact. So dont worry I can help you out.

I'm going to open up a sign up thread so anyone wanting to play sign up there.
