My gut reaction to this whole fiasco was that the cartoons were way out of line and should have been withdrawn and an apology entered. NOW, after all the violence that has erupted, I'm going the other way. Freedom of speech is important, but it is not carte blanche to offend everyone in sight. Making sure you offend no one is impossible, but there are some times when it is obvious what the reaction will be and I think we should restrain ourselves. We can not, however, bow to pressure of violence. These protests are being fanned and made more serious by fanatics and terrorists who are using these poor people's faith to achieve their own ends. That is as dispicable as said cartoons.

So let's fast forward now to a sex doll named Mustafa. Big freakin deal! First off this whole nothing named after the prophet thing is too much for me. Second it's not like there's gonna be a ton of exposure for this product unless you start protesting. Sorry, but this one I have no remorse for.

Besides you don't see the catholics burning flags in protest over the Baby Jesus Butt Plug, do ya? Which do you think is more offensive to a religion?

Fuck, am I the only one that thinks violence in the name of God is the most assinine form of hypocracy possible?

No, you are definitely not the only one.

i don't think they'll see it... and if they do, i doubt they'd admit having seen it.
