Feels the need to drug someone in order to get sex?

I had my drink spiked last night, but I was lucky, I'm well known in town and I have a lot of people that looked after me, but I'm bloody allergic to whatever they gave me. My stomach has been trying to escape through my mouth and I've not got out of bed all day.

What drives a person to do this to another human being?!

And the person that did it is currently resting up in A&E after an "accidental" fall down the stairs in the club after the doorstaff caught him attempting to do it to someone else. He's on the ward my ex is supposed to be working on, and he found out what happened and asked to be transferred so he doesn't maim the bastard.

Part of me wants to go up there and demand answers, and the other part just wants it all to go away.

A: Deficiency. Such an individual needs several hard kicks to the balls, with time for reflection in between. After the treatment, the individual needs to be taken to a recovery facility; a ditch on the way out of town.

I am hoping that you continue to recover, Just-Legal. The effects of an unknown drug can be very harmful, even deadly. If the problem continues, get medical help.

Please do me a small favor and get checked out by your MD. You don't know what was slipped to you so you don't know what the effects were. (Also it might be a good idea to have all of this documented even if you don't plan on pressing charges.) Please make sure there will be no lasting effects.

As for what kind of person would do this? A person with no concept of honor, a person with no concept of right and wrong. Actually I would nt consider this to be a person, I would cinsider them to be more of an animal in need of being brought to heel. (I'm being kind here. You do not want to know what I would be doing if this happened to my wife or any of my few friends. We'll just say that I'm sure it would make international news, if they ever found the body.)

Someone needs to go and get answers. If the guy already tried the same trick again on another girl he will almost certainly try again, using the hard lessons he learned this time. He will be more dangerous in the future. If he decides to upgrade his date rape drug, he may kill someone.

Get the two of you victims together along with any willing witnesses and go to the police. It is not just a matter of your safety, but of the safety of a lot of women in your area.

Glad to hear that you're okay. Everyone probably knows at least one woman who has been through that. One of my friends almost died because she had a bad reaction to whatever drug it was.

Sorry, been neglecting the 'main' AH board tonight and just saw your thread.

Best wishes for your continued recovery and horror at the actions of someone like that.

Sometimes it's nice to be old and out of the club/dating scene.

Earlier advice was sound especially about an MD for a thorough check out and being mindful of psychological repercussions. Stay in touch with everyone and keep everyone informed about your recovery.

*hugs* love, take care of yourself, and I definitely agree with seacat, get yourself to a GP love and just have yourself checked out, just to be on the safe side.

I'd also go with geting some answers. You might feel like you want it all to go away right now, but later down the line you might regret your inaction. whatever you decied ,know your friends here care greatly for you, and we're always here if you need us!
