What kind of jewelry do you wear?

All this talk of underwear has me wondering something else: what kind of jewelry do you normally wear? Do you have piercings- if so, where? What else do you wear- any special meanings for any of your jewelry (besides the obvious wedding rings)?

No piercings at all for me. And I wear a toe ring.

No piercings, can't stand needles. (same applies to tattoos, but I would so love one).

Silver thumb ring on both hands......Celtic knot, double on the left (an outer ring that revolves around an inner); simple plaited knot on the right. Silver Celtic knot ring middle finger of left hand (a birthday present from my ex. ), and an engraved silver band (celtic knot again), middle ringer of right hand. Adjustable silver ring, little finger of left hand.

I have a collection of around 50 different bead necklaces (mostly Balinese). I wear one on a daily basis, depending on mood and wardrobe. I have other jewellry, but I hardly ever wear them. The above I wear all the time.

One thing which I'm tempted to own is a Claddagh ring. The mythology and the symbolism of them enthralls me. Unfortunately, it's a little off to buy one when you're single.

No jewelry, not even a watch. No piercings, never had. and no tatoos, though I do really want one and even have the design picked out.

Each ear is pierced 5 times.
The left ear has 2 additional cartilage piercings.

I keep 'diamond' starter studs in all of them, except for the first hole.
Big silver or gold hoops generally occupy that hole, lol. Or any other kind of pretty dangly earring. I like girly and obnoxious.
No other piercings...

Besides that, I wear a gold or silver thumb ring occasionally, a silver watch, and either my Emerald, Sapphire, Ruby, or Amethyst ring depending on the wardrobe.
I'll forgo the ring is I want tips that day.
(It's true... if I'm wearing one of the rings, people don't tip, lol. Good thing they didn't see my car when they pulled in. )

Oh! And occasionally a color coordinated necklace.

I wear a watch sometimes, the strap is too big and I've not bothered to adjust it... so I just don't wear it as much as my old watch.

I used to wear a silver linked chain.. and before that, I had this dagger amulet of sorts that I would wear, but it was pewter and bent too easily, so I stopped.

Thumb rings -- both thumbs (one silver, one yellow/white gold). Simple wedding band (platinum). Earrings -- tiny hoops (white gold). Nipple ring (stainless steel).

I just lost my favorite necklace, I wore it all the time, only off in the shower.

It had great sentimental value.

Unless I'm dressing to show off one of my costumes I wear very little jewelry.
I have my ears pierced just once, and only wear small earrings, studs mainly. Then my heart shaped mood charm on a silver necklace. That's about it for every day. Dressy I replace the mood necklace with a string of pearls. My prized piece. I have been thinking about a belly button piercing, but I'm too chicken to go threw with it.

For costumes I go all out. Big gody everything. 3-4 different necklaces of different lenghts, a ring on almost every finger, hair combs or some sort of hair jewelry, and very large earrings. Durring the right time of year, I'm dressed that way once or twice a week.

Oh I feel for you - I have lost jewellry before and it cuts deep -but in the scheme of things....

I wear a cross that I designed and had hand-made by a silversmith... haven't taken it off in a 'teen' amount of years.

The only other jewelry I've ever worn is a birth promise stone.

I don't like jewelry very much. I have a couple of nice gold hoop earings and a very nice cross necklace that I wear if I go somewhere nice.

Left ear, four piercings: First, a gole hoop, second, a piercing stud with a feather dangling from it both made of gold (A. Indian heritage, though it's not specifically made for that), the other two regular gold studs.

Necklaces? Either my Sheetz bought necklace, which looks like a better than macaroni necklace; or my cheap is-meant-to-look silver chain with the enclircled pentacle (also meant-to-look silver, with fake blue gems at the points).

That's it.

Tattoos are inevitable, but not in the near future.

A Movado watch that I rewarded myself with about four years ago when I sold my condo and rec'd the sale proceeds.

I have a collection of silver rings with pretty stones that I pick up on my travels, street fairs. I have a few favorites that I wear often.

Necklaces if I'm going out or to work; mostly silver with some kind of colored stones or beads.

I have two piercings in each ear, but I rarely wear earrings anymore unless I put my hair up. Usually, I'll wear silver hoops if I do wear earrings.

A small tattoo of an ankh on my ankle.

Wedding band, Wrist watch on left wrist. (Titanium Dive Watch my wife got me.) Silver Warriors Rope Bracelet on right wrist. (My father made two of them. One for my brother and one for me. My brothers vanished.) Thin gold chain and a heavier silver chain around neck. (Gold chain was parting gift from a patients family. Silver chain holds a Medic Alert Emblem.)
