R. Lee Ermy is my hero.

He's got almost as many answers as I do and an attitude.

Any other Mailcall fans out there?

I love that show but R. Lee Ermy scares the hell out of me!

Maybe Santa will bring you a satelite dish or a stack of (dvds or VHS tapes) for Christmas?

I may have to start watching The History Channel again. I quit when I realized that I'd seen so much World War II stuff on there that statistically, I would have had to have seen my grandfather at least two or three times.

The thing I like themost about Mailcall is the hands-on aspect. Where possible, R. Lee goes right to the source to demonstrate the answers -- things like finding working WWII era flame thrower or making a Revolutionary war re-enactor prove that three rounds a minute with a muzzle-loader was possible, then asking if he hit the target, or making re-enactors actually dig regulation foxholes.

I saw those on the Mail Call marathon. I loved watching the guys trying to dig the foxholes in that super hard clay.

I kind of like his expression when he dressed in a Roman soldiers outfit -- complete with kilt for the bit on Roman Secret weapons.

The very best line from th show so far --

R. Lee: "Youjust kinda put this thing on like a pair of panty-hose."

Tank Driving instuctor: " Since I don't wear pantyhose, I'll just have to take your word for it."
