the worst automobile you've ever owned?

I paid $750 for a 1980 Ford Pinto in 1990..it looked OK so I thought I would have a cheap ride during some hard times--the damn thing broke down at least once a week--after about 3 months I junked for it $350--

I had to pull and rebuild or replace the engine three times in two years.

I've never owned a car, but I now know not to buy a 'Yugo'. I notice that Ajax has objected to it on the "What WON'T You Buy" thread as well as here. Thanks for the consumer advice.
