I watch maybe two hours of TV a night, if I get time, from midnight or 1-ish to 2 or 3am. No network TV, unless there's someone good on Letterman. Mostly cable stuff - HBO, Skinimax, Sundance (which has shown barf for the last few weeks), Discovery Channel, and The O'Reilly Factor - only to get my blood boiling.
Watched "American Psycho" on PPV last night. How disappointing. Everyone talked about how gory and nasty it was, but I've seen 60's B-movies that had more gore and violence. Hell, some Steven Sagal movie I watched last week had more blood. Unrealistic characters, all sorts of anachronisms (90's songs in clubs even though it was supposed to be the 80's, plus the women wore very late 90's hair and makeup). The only saving grace was that I got to stare at Christian Bale for a few hours. He was wonderful as the kid in "Empire of the Sun", one of my Top 5 all-time favorite movies. And boy, did he grow up right...
