I wrote a story some time back and posted it in loving wives. Whoa! what a flame fest, but I got some very good comments. I listened to what these readers had to tell me and changed the story to build up the characters of the man and his wife as well as the hitchhiker. In the first version I told the tale from the pov of the hitchiker and let the couple who picked him up go without enough explanation of why they were there.
So bottom line is this. I have changed the story enough that I have a new title and an extra couple of pages. I would like to delete the old one and repost as new the edited version. Is this fair? Is it smart?
The old story has had over forty five thousnd readers but has low scores.
