What is the show that you set time aside for every week?

For me it would have to be one of two. Either "Deadliest Catch" or "Dirty Jobs". How about you?

Damn. Deadliest Catch is good, but I like a lot of the Adult Swim shows. Hard to say. I also like Scrubs.

I haven't looked at a television since some soccer game a few months back -- and that was on the request of someone else.

Sopranos was my only appointment TV left. I can take or leave everything that is left right now.

CSI has gone downhill with too much focus on the CSI's home lives.

House is the same thing week after week (still enjoyable, but I don't "need" to see it).

I have no idea what Mythbusters is on. I see it when I can.

The rest of the family won't let me watch new eppisodes of SG1 or Atlantis because they have other things they want to watch...

I like NCIS, but I can take it or leave it depending on what else I'm doing that night.

Bones is fun, but I'm at poker when it's on anymore.

As I once said (not long ago -lol) you are charming.

BSG - can't miss it as I am an addict.

I must say as an aside ... I came back to NA and found an inordinate amount of shit on TV. Pirates Cove? WTF??

Those are good. Man vs wild. 24 before the end of the season. Don't tell anybody, but my dirty little secret is Survivor. Don't worry, I'm seeking help.

There is very little I find worth watching on TV.

Deadliest Catch,
Dirty Jobs, (It's funny as hell.)
Hazard Pay,
Underground Cities,
Man versus Wild, and last but not least Dog Fights,

Oh and I do occasionaly catch the local news but mainly for the weather.

(Do you notice a theme here on my watching? )

Dare I say shit? lol

Actually, yes I do. :)

HEROES

For plot, characterization, and downright 'what the fuck?' factor, I can't see anything that beats it.

The Tudors.

...but I don't have to set aside time for it, I have On Demand.

I watched part of an episode of Heroes once and couldn't get into it. I'm a fan of comic book-y superhero stuff, too.

Same here. I actually got in an argument with my SO once, because I told him I had to get off the phone to watch it. Can't wait 'till the next season.

See the season finale yet?

It's hot. *fans self*
I downloaded it today. Will watch it tomorrow.

Yes, ma'am, I know how much that show can turn you on. :catroar:

You'd have to see it from the beginning, otherwise you'd be lost. It's a very intricate storyline, as much cerebral as flashy.

I dare anyone to watch that episode and not get turned on.

Plus, I want dresses like that. :D

No freakin' s**t. Hiro, transported back in time to 17th-century Japan? You can bet that lone man on the horse is Kensei (which, I understand, is actually a Japanese term meaning 'sword master'), or someone close to him.

Makes you wonder if Hiro Nakamura actually becomes his own ancestor. Or maybe Hiro actually becomes Kensei ;)

Yeah, see, that's the problem. I can never get into those 'gotta catch 'em all' shows because I never watch all the episodes, especially from the beginning.

Did you just dare me?

Yea, me too...not sure I can pull them off though.

They're all online at NBC.com

That is, if you're interested. I go back and watch some of the first few shows just to look for clues as to what's revealed later. Tim Kring really has a great team of writers working for him.

I forgot about 24, mainly because I missed the last season and have to rent it.

I would also like to watch Heros, but my schedule doesn't permit it right now.
