Pretty much anything, I'm (or was) a game addict. I love most trivia and word related games (although oddly enough, not Scrabble so much). Of the classic board games Life (the old version, not the lame, suck-ass "updated" one), Clue (the mid-70's version is my fave) and Parcheesi. Of the newer games I enjoy Taboo, Huggermugger and Outburst greatly. I guess Trivial Pursuit falls between classic and newer somewhere, but the esoteric add-on packs annoy me. I like some of the TSR and Avalon Hill games (btw, if anyone has a copy of the Avalon Hill game called either Enchanted Gate or Enchanted Wood, I'm willing to pay for it!) and I like stuff like Elixer and Dungeon.
Strategy/War games like Stratego, Battleship, Axis & Allies...those sort, never really floated my boat.
When I was in high school I made a game called "high life." It was a parody of the game Life. You spun the wheel at the beginning of the school year and went through it. All kinds of perks and pitfalls. You know, "Skip school and advance to beach." "Dean Hayes busts you in the parking lot smoking a joint."
Should have marketed it. I might be getting my knob polished in Tahiti instead of posting on lit right now....
