What is this? The summer Exodus?

Actually me too - often here and there...... but not forever ("Too bad," I can hear some of you sigh.)

I'm off today - motorcycling down (I pre-shipped my clubs) to Southern PA for my major, annual, brother's in-law and friends (mostly NSA spooks) golf tourny. This year 90 holes in 3days and the weather seems like it's going to be perfect. Won't be back here until Thursday.

I'm back in the office 2 lousy days and then off to Marrathon, Florida for a week with the Shebabe and the yard-ape.

Then I'm back for a few days to work.....

And off again for another week of R'nR right here in Manhattan. My middle son, age 12, who loves NYC is visiting the entire time,. We're talkin' Yankees, Blue Man Group, Anney Get Yer Gun, and even the WWF, live out on Long Island. A 12 year olds fantacy week.

Then I'm back in work for a couple of days......

And on Aug. 20th I'm off - PAID - for 3 months.

I'm ever the devious one - I get back to work and work for one or two days - and guess what?

Thanksgiving and the holidays start.

Right now - I'm virtually off - fully paid - until the New Year.

So, I won't be here very much.

And with the Summer Exodus from the board here - it seems others aren't going to be here either.

enjoy your time off and with your boys. Think about me here in TN toiling away the entire time. Well, ok... I'm going to Memphis in two weeks and then won't have anymore time off until I go to Key West in November.

I'm jealous, Sparky. Although I do get a break away this weekend for an art show I go to every year in another city. I take my time driving, stay over Sat night, and hit the show first thing Sunday morning. Some years I don't buy a thing, other years my car trunk is full by the time I'm on my way home. But every year, I enjoy seeing all the beautiful things the artists make. And it is supposed to be great weather this weekend, too!
