I've only done it once. It was a poem that had a stupid spelling error. But I do have stuff that should be edited and resubmitted.

Two so far but I have only been posting here for four months. It will go higher. I am compulsive in this way also. Plus there are these evil little typo-gremlins that always add errors to my letter-perfect MSS between the time it is submitted and my first read on-line .

I have yet to resubmit, nor do I have any intention of doing so (simply because I'll become one of those people, like you seem to be Bridget, who constantly goes back and makes changes).

As it is, I'm too distracted to go ahead and write new stuff. Letting the old stuff distract me as well is asking for far too much trouble.

I did it 3-4x on one story 'cause the formatting kept getting screwed up -- whole blocks of text were italicized or centered in error.

Other stories, I've not corrected more than once -- to catch the typo that invariably sneaks through my copy editing.

It's not your copy editing. It's those evil little typo-gremlins, I tell ya!
