What is the good in keeping MLK and civil rights statues and such?

It simply divides people by reminding certain groups of past victimhood rather than allowing us to move on as a society.

Furthermore, King didn't actually do anything to implement civil rights. Whites in Congress and the Supreme Court did.

yeah, it was the whites

Let's see, civil rights leaders worked to unite the country, with equal opportunity and justice for all in our patchwork nation. In contrast, traitorous bigots work to divide the nation, overthrow democracy, and establish a caste system. Which should I respect?
