I think it has something to do with your own frame of mind. If every time you dress in a certain way you want to get laid then that is dressing slutty because you are a slut. If you dress in a certain way where sex may or may not be the ultimate goal, then you are dressing sexy. Dressing slutty is like when you are a sure thing while dressing sexy makes them have to work for it.

I agree with this. I see slutty as something super revealing and making it clear you are easy for sex. I see sexy as being something that can be revealing, but totally doesn't have to be. It also has more class to it.

Really is a tough one when ya think about it, obviously no wrong answers since each person is gonna see it a lil different, but seems like saying something super revealing would be slutty(ier) but its not always true, like in the case of a super small bikini... might be sexy but not necessarily slutty. Someone already mentioned it above but I think HOW you are wearing the clothes has the biggest thing to do w/ it. For example could have 3 girls in the exact same school girl outfit...even if all 3 were attractive it is still easy enough to imagine that from personality alone that one could seem plain, one could look very confident and sexy, and one girl is acting obviously slutty. I could be totally wrong here, but I'm just thinking that a majority of slutty women aren't typically dressing slutty when they go out rather than just trying to dress/look sexy and acting slutty lol. Just another example so it doesn't sound so cliche using the school girl example above, would be like that sexy secretary look. 3 women in professional dress, 1 might add 1 small thing like stockings to make it sexy, and I think in this example it would be almost impossible to tell slutty w/out seein the personality. There are obviously plenty of slutty stereotypes tho which we all know... no offense to any dancers w/ this... but a dancer and a hooker might wear alot of the same clothes... just all comes down to where they are wearing em lol

Speaking as an older guy I have to say that on the rare occasion I drive through downtown on a Friday or Saturday night when the sweet young things are out on the town, outside the pubs and clubs, they all look to me like they are dressed as sluts.

I'm not saying that's a bad thing, they look sexy as hell to me and I only wish the girls dressed like that when I was actively dating all those years ago.

In any event I'm sure the young ladies concerned would say they were sexily attired if they were asked and be offended at being called slutty.

So standards change, what is slutty today is just sexy tomorrow.
