Mine isn't in there. Mine is "In the Arms of an Angel". Mostly my favorite song, because it reminds me so much of gramma who passed away 3 days after Christmas in 1998. My husband was driving us up to her house <a 45 minute drive from where we lived at the time> and this song came on. I swore I heard my gramma telling me everything would be fine and that she was truly happy whereever she was. To this day, whenever I hear that song, I have to stop, and sing it, just to keep myself from crying. And I will always remember her when I hear it.

Then, theres "ILBT" (I Like Big Tits) from Joe Walsh's album, You bought it, You name it, released in the mid-80's.
Of course, "Erotic City" by Prince.
Let's not forget "Closer" (the "I want to fuck you like an animal" song) by Nine Inch Nails.
But my personal favorite song is probably either "Hero of the Day" by Metallica, or "Bravado" by RUSH.

The EW & F classic is entitled. " I'll Write a Song For You".
I'm impressed though. Only a true EW & F fan would know that song. They are one of my favorite bands. My favorite song by then would have to be the live version of " Devotion. "

Well - while there are definitely some great songs on your list - none of them would be my choice of "Best Song Ever" - Personally I think "Somewhere Over The Rainbow" is the greatest song ever.
While Hey Jude is incredible - my pick of best ever Beatle's Song would be "Tomorrow Never Knows"
There have been literally hundreds of threads on this basic topic: Best 80's song, best song lyrics, best song to get laid to, literotica theme song, favorite xmas song, what song moves you, that one special song, the greatest song ever written, your favorite song, best song to watch a woman strip to, and on and on...
There was one thread, I can't remember the title - maybe someone remembers it and can post the link here - I think it might have been a DCL thread - it had a list of the "100 Best Songs of all time" - interesting to see the list and, of course, it generated quite a lot of disagreement as to what should NOT have been on that list, and what wasn't on the list and should have been.

what's wrong with an "other" choice? do people NOT put that anymore?
The choices are shit, BUT if I'm picking one, then it's Hey Jude.
My personal favorite is Faithfully by Journey, followed by When I Think Of You, also by Journey.
There are alot of great songs out there though, and as has been pointed out, it can change on a daily basis sometimes.
