what is nudity for you

Now this question may sound weird or stupid to ask
but did you ever wonder why nudity is the exposed buttocks or penis or vagina or breasts and not for example the legs or chest or anything else.
i had diffrent answers from diffrent people in chat rooms one of them even told me that the exposed vagina or buttocks is not a nudity other said diffrent things therefore i ask here
What is nudity for you
i mean what parts of a human body if were exposed
you will say this person is nude for both sexs

The definition of nude is "without clothing or draperies" so I would have to say that just socks would be "partially nude" by definition.

Another part of the definition has to do with "being without some legal requirement" which would imply that nudity is something different in each legal jurisdiction.

For example, in a fundamentalist Islamic nation, being seen in public without a veil would be nudity, even if the face were the only thing uncovered. In other jurisdictions, there might not be any such thing as nudity, only nakedness.

My personal definition of nude, is "clad only in your own skin"

Since I am rarely without my socks I suppose I am partially nude all the time. I cannot stand my feet getting cold.

Use of the Terminology

If you are using nudity in a displeasing sense I would have to say it is up to each individual as a personal veiw of seeing themselves. If your using nudity in the correct sense; I would say that nudity is a an art. In the same, I would say that clothing also is an art. They're in a constant battle we call fashion. This is just my opinion so please let me know if anyone shares.

Nudity to me, is simple. If you are showing everything, without an clothes on whatsoever, then you are fully nude. Any clothing of any kind is partial nudity.
