Are people as mean as I see on TV? No parking?? Hundreds of cabs? (We have 5 so we have to share.) Hot dogs from a street cart?? I really want to know. Not bad enough to actually GO there.

Ok, I'm mildly curious.

I thought he was talking about Heaven. And the answer was yes. Except for the parking. There's always plenty of parking. It's Heaven, after all.

Are you talking about New Yawk? Yeah, I been dere.

What struck me was the incredible amount of crazy homeless people. I went there in high school with the marching band to perform in the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. We were walking back to the bus after seeing a show when a very dirty man ran up to me, and proceeded to "take my picture" with a "camera" he had made out of empty, glued-together water bottles. Then he ran away. It was an interesting experience.

Oh yeah, and it's freaking cold!

We have crazy homeless here too.

Except here we call them Grandma. Or Uncle Mike.

It's good up here. Kind of like a Victorias Secret mag. Everyone is nearly naked, lots of lace, thongs, billowy pillows to recline on. Generally, there's not lots to do. We pass our days toying with one another, lazily dipping into the next cloud...tasting forbidden treats and treasures.

How's life down there?

No.
Yes.
No.
Yes. The best you'd ever want to flop a lip over.

It's not heaven...it's bettah

It's New Orleans...
