it seems like whenever i start a thread or post a reply that thread dies right there. if there are any administrators or experienced users who wuld like to give me some input on this please do. i apologize to anyone i have replied to and killed their post. also let me know if i should just revoke my membership and get out of here to preserve the happiness of the other literotica members.

There's tons of threads that get a few postings and then crash. I've had threads that went on for awhile, and they died. It happens. Not everyone on here shares the same intrests. Some of these threads that are on lit have been running since i joined, but everyone on the thread knows eachother, and the new people that come in get to know everyone, so the thread keeps moving and getting bigger.

I've also seen people comment about threads having poor spelling and poor grammar. We all have typing errors, it happens, But some of the threads i've seen in the almost 2 years i've been here, look like they've been typed by 6 year olds.

My advice to you, keep posting, get to know people, check out a few threads you normally wouldn't. You just might meet a whole bunch of new friends. Just because a thread topic says one thing, doesn't mean there not talking about other things as well.

Happy posting :)

Thank you for the advice Cipher. I usually just talk to people on chat rooms so tend not to worry as much about punctuation and grammar, even though I am quite capable of doing so, preferring to concentrate more on the content of what I am writing. I apologize if my first post appeared childish to you and will make an effort to correct such errors in the future. Thanks again for letting me know that the reason these threads are dying out are probably not solely the rulst of my participation.

You're welcome.

I haven't chatted in a chat room for like 5 years, i like posting on message boards better.

Your post didn't appear childish to me. Not at all.
Yeah for sure, don't take non replies personally. I belong to my fair share of threads, and i stop in on new ones occasionaly, sometimes people get caught up and then forget, or just say "fuck it".

Relax, it's all good ;)
