My Nick.. well this one I originaly started useing in IRC for when I went to bed so everyone would know not to message me, but I could still see what they said if i read the log the next morning.

why I use it on this BBS is because I never really thought I'd be here long, and I really didn't want anyone to know who I am...

But I don't really care now that I know how friendly almost everyone here is.... so why not tell my real name.

Well, I have loved the name Gillian since I saw Practical Magic. Then, the name was choosen for Chris, were he to be born female. We have a thing with the names having to end with the
-an, -en, -on type sound. After that, I made it Gilly Bean (Nic Kidman's nickname on Practical Magic). Now, the name is up for use again, since I STILL love it. I figured after 2 years, I would have gotten sick of it. But I havn't so, Gillian it is for the next lil one.

a few years ago some of my friends started calling me this for no apperant reason (perhaps because it was ironic since i was in no way sexy ). i hated it at the time but now i like it.

When I first began posting on Lit, I used the name Celeb Lover because I mostly read stories from the celebrity section.

When I began posting in the RP threads I figured I should have a more appropriate name, so I asked Laurel to change it for me. It was the only name I liked that wasn't already taken.

The only problem is that Sephiroth is a male character from a video game, so everybody assumes that I'm a guy.

I guess I was christened a Shameless Flirt by my friends and it stuck.

So despite the somewhat feminine connotation I embraced it.

Most of the screen names I've taken are nicknames given to me by others (I used to chat in Yahoo).

I like to be myself online, and the nicks reflect my personality.

the pheonix is a bird of rebirth and renwal. When I decided to start over on this board I wanted to use pheonix but it was taken so I chose to use a y in the name instead.

Mistress comes from a main character in the online role playing game EverQuest.

Mistress Ninou was an abused paladin who through harsh events,years of abuse, and multiples hearts breaks turned into a evil woman with a bitter heart. She became a Shadow Knight, a fallen paladin. She used her body and sexuality to get many pets (Slaves) all over the land of Norrath! (I was really good at role playing her!) Ninou is a big part of my personality, and so I usually use my screen names to reflect her. But I've told this story many times since I've been at Lit.
