What is an "H"?

I saw threads on the forums talking about stories being an "H"? what does that mean?

For that matter, is there maybe a thread that defines other Lit/forum terms like that, that newbies like me may not know?

A Red H means the story has an average rating of 4.5 or better from at least ten votes.

Note that this doesn't necessarily mean the story is good, or sexy, or well-written, or widely read. It just means that at least ten readers have assigned it an average of 4.5 stars or better. Nothing more, nothing less.

Would it restore your buzz somewhat if I said that the Hs are wonderful things for writers - a token of appreciation from their readers - but for readers they don't really give an idea of the story's quality?
