It would have to be a toss-up for me between Spector_Dugan's Baseball Trip series or a series that's now been removed (and whose author I subsequently don't remember the name of) by the name of Advanced Primatology, both of which are masterful slow burns. A very, very close runner-up would be ElAbogado's College Sports Clinic Encounter, a dark seduction story, and again, a flawless slow burn.

First, the Lit story that got me into the forums here. I looked through threads for leads on stories I might like and went for @Quince's A Funny Thing Happened...- a romance during a production of the Sondheim show. And I'm not a romance fan.

Secondly, a story that has me laughing every time I read it, because it's hot but so, so wrong. Anyone who's had to endure a cringe making team-building day will relate: @Bramblethorn 's The Floggings Will Continue .

I cannot remember either the story name or the author; I had a look a couple of years ago and concluded they’d left Lit. Female writer, a story from a Nude Day contest (I think). MFC wears only her favourite blue shoes to the local Nude Day event. The shoes are a riddle; one smart lad solves it and fun-n-frolic ensue. I wish I could remember. Oh, how do I know it was my favourite? I PMd the author and said so.

Honestly it is hard to pick because there have been some solid ones out there, but if I had to pick one...

"A Matter of Blood" by "LateStageInfernalism"

I've read some good plots around here, some solid stories and some with just well done kinks, but I did not expect to come here and read a bloody fantasy epic.
