Of course I'm not a pleasure slave, but their are many ways to bring pleasure that aren't sexual. Sometimes when K's really tired and stress we'll take a bath and I'll wash his hair and stuff, giving him a good scalp rub. Last night I have him a full body rub down. I really like this idea of giving pleasure,

I can do basic Indian head massage but have always stayed away from essential oils as a means to enhance peoples well being. I can rage for a long time on how I have seen lavender oil (alledgedly a 'safe' oil) cause peoples moods to change to anger or depression almost immediately.

I do Spiritual healing and crystal healing too.

I love making a room a relaxing place with music and candles, I try and keep one room in my home harmonious

The major difference is that for the most part, geisha were not sexual companions, nor were they slaves, at least not to clients. But that's a whole entirely different topic.

Interesting thread...More specificly, an interesting question.
I think that currently the term "pleasure slave" gets muddled a bit by it's use in the Gorean novels...
But...
Even there, the term is correctly applied to one who is totally commited to arts of sexual pleasure... One who is devoted to pleasing their Master.
Which would widely separate them from the Geisha. Since the Geisha were not bond, and their skills were widely cultural..
In a more "real" and "current" context, I would say that a "pleasure slave" is best defined by the Master in question.
As for myself... I would say that a pleasure slave should be, not only a willing devotee of eroticism, and open to all it's permutations on order..

But should also be able to make a good cup of tea.. Of course, serving said cup of tea... Naked, collared, and with the proper attitude.....
