What if it only works unedited?

I've written about some of my experiences and that's not easy to do so I just type it in and save it spelling and grammer errors and all. The people who have read them all say that they can tell I'm thinking and feeling the story when they read it. I would like to submit some of them but I think they would be better just the way they were written. Is that a problem for the editors here?

hmmmm...

Oh if only we had that much controll of things lol. We are not the ones who approve the stories, we just help out authors who ask for it.

Chances are that if you submit the way it is it will be rejected for either spelling/ grammer or readability. But it might be worth a try.

Also you might want to find an editor and see what they say about your story, its always good to get someone's unbiased oppinion. They can't make you change anything just make suggestions. A good editor will help you keep the spontainious feeling but make it easier for the reader to read.

Happy writing

From your description it sounds like you have the beginnings of some good stories. While you may think they only work in an unedited format, any story can be greatly improved from some minor editing. I think that if you let the stories set for a day or two and come back to them you'll see areas for improvement. In fact by editing you will probably be able to feel the passion, heat and emotion in the stories even more than you do now. If you want high scores on Literotica it would probably help your stories to be as tight as possible with your spelling and grammar. I know that if I run across too many egregious spelling and grammar mistakes I'll more often than not skip a story no matter how good or exciting the plot may be.

Good Luck with your writing

Thanks, but I don't know. Its hard to spell everything right when I'm typing with one hand and they're not really stories just me describing what happened.

I have to think about it I guess. Everyone I've showed them to said don't change anything.

my advice again is see what an editor says. You can always ignore their comments.

I have found typing one handed is a good way to come up with some weird sentences that are compleatly unreadable. but that is just me, i have met people who can.

the important part about an editor is that they are not someone who is going to suger coat things for you, they are objective. I too have gotten the "dont change a thing" comment, but when i sent it to an editor it came back with a bunch of very good comments.

If you want i am free for a couple days and would be happy to give it a read and see what i think.

Just put a note in the "Notes" box to say that your story is "stream of consciousness".
