I remember turning on the tv as a kid and I saw this cool guy Ronald McDonald. He worked in the fast food business and always had a ball. Now he is still active.

But....what happened to the guy who always stole the burgers ??? He was called 'Hamburger-Klau' over here (=hamburger-thief, loose translation). He was one of the meanest villains in history and he always scared the hell out of me when my parents took me out for fast-food-dinner.
And then he suddenly disappeared.

Where is he, what does he do now, what happened to him ???
Is he still active in the US ? (I think that's where he was from)

Anyone ?

Dammit, I'm getting stupid again, gotta go to bed.

I remember seeing one of those once. Pretty awful when you're older than five. :D

We actually had a song in the charts last year that went like,

'McDonalds, McDonalds, Kentucky Fried Chicken and a Pizza Hut.'

That was about all the lyrics but repeated over and over again. It also had a silly dance to it. It was a song for children and it was called 'the Burger DAnce'.
It drove me crazy.

Some of the other charactes still show up in the toys for young children. My daughter got a toddler toy in her happy meal a while ago that is a little ice cream truck, Grimace is driving.

Eight-to-ten in the maximum security wing at Sing-Sing, from what I heard. Nothing close to what that thieving bastard deserved.

Stupid socks, too. Looked like Pippi Longstocking from the knees down, except for the giant clown shoes.

Prison's too good for him.

OMG How sad. I think I know it too LOL

Pizza Hut, Red Rooster and McDonald's (Aussie translation lol)

IT's like the chicken dance, but they make their arms into a 'roof'.

Thanks for the laugh :)

Damn, I remember the hamburgular but I'd forgotten about the Grimace. Maybe that's because I didn't care for him that much. But can Ronald still chase around the burgular at his age?

But being a Hamburgler, he'll have many enemies in the slam.

What, you mean he'll run around stealing all the other inmates' food? Man, that's a death wish!

Is this guy on drugs? He always did look somewhat unnaturally purple...

What I want to know is why he's that strangely rounded triangular shape.

There's been four here that I'm aware of, but we missed the birthday party one and ended up with two copies of the one about the aliens. My 4yo loves them, and I hadn't realized how much he'd been co-opted by the marketing until we tried to go to a McDonald's one day that was still closed after a hurricane, but had looked open because the parking lot had lots of cars in it (they'd called in all the employees to help with post-storm cleanup). I turned to go back to the car, and he through himself on the sidewalk and pitched a royal fit.

First time I'd ever seen him do such a thing.

Actually the Hamburglar escaped from Sing-Sing (using bad vocalizations, I understand) and is now at LARGE -- even Supersize -- on the web, in his own HIDEOUT.

The "Cold Hamburger Detectives" are going over the forensic evidence, and expect to apprehend him any day, now.

As far as McDonald's music, I would also claim it drove me crazy, except that CRAZY has never been more than a short putt away from where I am at.

Is there a reward for catching him ?
