What happened to the stories?

OK, OK, so I wrote a bunch of letters to Laurel and Manu that I guess never got through.

So now I am trying the bulletin board.

How come the six articles I sent in beginning last Fall have never shown up? Do I need to send them again? anyone else have this minor difficulty? Not EVERYTHING I send is trash.

I too have given up writing any emails to Lit, mainly because they are just too busy to read them, let alone answer them. I think it's quicker asking your question on the board, at least that's what I do.

Laurel, thanks for checking. I have the email files (most of them, anyhow) and so I'll use your recommended alternative procedure for posting to see if it flies.

Of course retrieving this stuff ain't as easy as it looks, and the !@#$#@!! formatting has to be fixed after the transfer. But what the hey, you provide the place to publish, I'll give ya the yarns.

Actually every time I come here I go to that author's page as the quick and simple means of checking for stuff posted.

But yah, Carl - this is the quickest way to get to the action!

COUNT ME IN ON THE "LET'S GIVE UP ON THIS SHIT" LIST

I have written 2 letters in regards to the deletion of my only online pic from my profile/author's index and I submitted it in a thread/post on the General Board. I've gotten no e-mail prior to the deletion and no respond from neither the e-mail or message board. It is obviously being ignored. Now there goes my only pic that I cannot retrieve or download again. It's just lost and gone for good.

And I sincerely apologize for getting snippy. My 'real' work (the stuff that pays the grocery bill) has picked up quite a bit. This is good news financially but a bit stressful otherwise, especially since Lit is growing like a weed. And that damn human thing MP mentioned makes it so I can't get done everything I want to get done. There's been so many authors who're insistant that their stories get up faster that I've been concentrating on that lately, which unfortunately leave less time for mail and other things.

Your real job? OH HELL...I know just what you mean, Laurel. It's been almost 3 months since I started this new job and I have one more month of probation there. So far, all is going well. It keeps me busy and I actually enjoy going to work everyday. But for about a month and a half of this 3 months, I had to deal with one guy who made my daily job a living hell. And yet, he only had senority and not authority. His job was to assign the job duties every day. But he took it upon himself to serve as a supervisor. Then one Sunday, we were all assigned to make a few crappy looking buses look new again. Well, he got on my bus and, while making small talk with me, began rubbing a white shop towel over several areas of the interior of the bus. Needless to say, he found nothing. But the word that I got the next day was that the entire shop heard about that incident. Being that this is not part of his job, it did not look good for him. I was told by another coworker that this was the kind of act that he would play to put the probationary employees through hell. Instead, it backfired. He's lightened up tremendously. I heard that the entire shop (i.e., coworkers, mechanics, etc.) and management are on my side and that that makes it hard for him to give me hell.....LOL.

My Goo-ness! Just my own two cents worth: Have I encountered an occasional delay? Yes. Occasional problem? Yes.
Have I ever encountered a better run, better managed board with more caring and attentive hosts? No.

I believe there is Very little to complain about regarding the management of this site. Got a problem? It's, more often than not, an oversight that is usually corrected almost immediately.

There is simply no comparison between Literotica and any other site on the net when it comes to fairness and attentiveness, if that is, indeed, a word.

Literotica is worth every dollar we all pay for memebership. What? Oh, that's right... it's free. I must have forgotten. You mean these folks do it for free??
