So, now apparently its forbidden to discuss the illegitimacy rate and ways we can reduce it for the benefit of children. Anyone who raises the issue is to be visciously belittled and besmirched through the usual means of incessant media attack and repetitious ridicule by the liberal and libertarian noise machines. Silence those who discuss the issue at all I guess.
The question is, just a few years ago, Democrats were also concerned about the illegitimacy rate. It was one of the issues the New Democrats in the 90s were trying to address, and go back a little farther than that and Daniel Moynihan was an early voice talking about the problem as early as the 1960s. So, what the hell is going on here? An attempt to make cheap political points, more of their knee jerk hatred for political opponents, or a true decision that illegitimacy is no longer a problem for kids or society?
What do you think, is it really good for what is it up to now, I think over 40% of all children born to a mother out of wedlock?
