Well, I have some nice roses, clematis, the crepe myrtle is beginning to bloom, the day lilies are done, but now the double day lilies are blooming, they are so cool, but what I've cut is a single glad stalk, just as the lowermost bud was opening, and I'm jamming on how cool it looks alone on the table.
Last week, it was the mimosa tree which bloomed for the very first time. A volunteer that came up between the stumps of two mighty oaks.
Next week the crepe and the butterfly bushes will turn into a sturdy hedgerow of pink, red, deep red, and purple, both light and dark.
We have tiger swallowtail, zebra swallow tails, the huge black swallowtails, monarchs, and so much more with the last two days full of Blue Angels screaming overhead chasing the eagles from the sky.
