frighten you most if they existed in reality?

As much as I would like to name some obscure Egyptian God or gothic novel villain I have to say no one has ever gotten into my head like Freddy Kruger.

Truthfully, of those of you who have seen any of the Nightmare on Elm Street Series who hasn't had one nightmare about that guy?

And how am I supposed to get any sleep after you reminded me of him....

Godzilla for sure. I'd be the person in the car that just wouldn't start and get stepped on.
Now Michael Meyers from Halloween would have been the one, but he got his head chopped off in the last movie. RIGHT??????
Ok....I'm going to hide under the covers. Anyone need a spot? :D

Those kinds of movies freak me out too much. No scary movies for roxie. Though just for the record, I lived on Elm St when those movies came out. Not good;)

yipes..that clown scares me!
I've had nightmares about him! *shivers*

The ghosts from Thirteen Ghosts scared the shit out of me when I watched that movie. I had to sleep over Paganangel's after we watched it because I didn't want to drive home at 2 am.

I'll never look at a storm drain the same way again.

I beat Freddy in one of my nightmares as a kid...he used to have me waking up crying....

I used to live on the 2nd floor of an apartment building and the living room window led out to the balcony which overlooked the parking lot. I would wake up in my dream and my place would always be crowded with people and very lively as though there were a party going on. I would always walk to the living room window because the room would get dark and feel strange but no one else noticed. And then night would fall outside and I would see a figure hopping on top of cars in the lot approaching the apt. I would be left with one of two choices. Run and abandon everyone to be slaughtered. Or stay and get slaughtered myself.

Only two times did I ever choose to stay. Usually I would run and get slaughtered with the rest of em somehow anyway. But one time when I saw Freddy jump on my balcony porch I held the door that opened to the balcony with all my dream might. He couldn't get in and I woke up. I was SO happy. I told my mom and everything.

I tried to do that the next time I dreamed about Freddy....it didn't work...not at all....:( :( :(

"I've no plans to call on you Clarice, the world's a more interesting place with you in it. Now you extend me the same courtesy..."

Dr. Lector

PS - "love the suit!"

Considering that Mike, Jason, Freddy, and Leatherface live with me. (Action Figures) I'd have to say Grimace from McDonald's.

I Had terrible nightmares about him when I was a kid, fucked my shit up.

Hamburglar didn't help either.

The Werewolve's from the Howling Series............The first time that the transformation from man to wolf was made to look real....Had me shitting my pants for weeks.......And there are'nt even any wolves in NZ.........(Except for Kiwiwolf and he's a big softy)

never been frightened by Freddy, but jason scared the livin hell out of me, i still cant really watch it and i am 23, pathetic huh?

Even though he was a real man...

...Ghengis Khan in Mulan. His glowy-yellow eyes and inhuman look freaked the hell out of me.

I'm so glad that movie didn't come out when I was a little kid!! :D

(I'm pathetic, I know.) ;)

Apocalypse. With his ratical views on how everything should be baised on Survival of the fittest, I would be the first to die.

Another good thread Shaq!

Nightmare on Elm Street is some of the only fan fic I've ever written...I'm a big horror movie fan.

Next time you see him just figure out your dream power and deal with it.(thats a lot of fun)

One of the neighborhoods I grew up in had its own urban legend of an ax murderer...in my freshman year some people were found hacked to pieces outside a K-Mart and once on my way home from a friends house i swear someone was following me and I caught glimpses of a shadow carrying an axe.

It made me run.

Fast.

Ok, well, its Freddy, hands down, scares the shit outta me, i'm 19, cant even sit through one of his movies. I'm actually looking over my shoulder as we speak.

Jason and Mike not so much....Jason, cause, well, he's in space, Mike Myers...well...ahem...dont mean to ruin the whole "he got his head chopped off" things...but...well..He's BAAAAAACKK...

That book scared me. I read it when I was 12. It was great!

Aside from being scared to death being forced to watch Salem's Lots when I was 7 by my sisters. I had vampire nightmares for weeks.

I think Candyman was the first movie to ever really scare me that. He is one creepy guy.

I used to have nightmares that not only Tom, but Jerry too, were chasing me around the house. Scarred me for life.

Re:Eagle...cool..so you knowthat wsn't Miheal Myers who got hs headchoped off.

One of the scariest books I ever read was called "Shadowland" by Peter Straub...I read it when iwas a kid and I still remember the story vividly...all about magic and evil and hate and the devil and the king of cats and a very sad girl who always stepped on glass who wasn't really a girl and skeletons who were bullies a boy who was really a porcelain owl.

Glam,

as far as i can tell, no...i dont think this'll spoil anything. I'm willing to say that before he gets pinned to the tree by Jamie Lee in H20, he switches places with someone, which is why "Mike" reached out to jamie lee in his final moments, to beg her not to kill him. thats my thoughts at least...

Well from what I've gathered Halloween 8 has been finished and was set to be released last October...so whatevers going on I don't know... I got so tired of waiting fr the new Jason movie (and disappoitned in its premise) I avoided it...but yes...it's been reported Micheal Myers put his mask on the guy who was drivingthe ambulence at the end of H2O!

HAHA! Knew it!!!! July 19th iswhen the movie comes out, i cant wait to see it. Busta Rhymes is in it though..thats kinda foolish if you ask me. anyways, it oughtta be very good.
