What Ever Happened To....

Good Question.
She had a great sultry voice. I loved the "Body and Soul" song.

Anita looking for record label
(edited June 20, 2002)
8 Years is a long time to be gone from the music scene. Many times we have heard of upcoming releases, cd in the makings and then being destroyed due to lousy recording equitment and troubles with record label Atlantic Records, but all this is history now. Anita Baker is out of her contract with Atlantic and is looking for a new label. Recording of the new cd is in progress and hopefully it will come out soon.

Prayers have been answered. In an industry full of crap it will be nice to listen to Anita once again.
