Seriously...
it is very difficult to pull off a get together. It seems like there is always somebody who cannot make one date or another. Then plans are changed. It just seems like it constantly changes. Last I heard there is a meeting in NJ this Friday (?). The tone seems sexual and I know personally I am not comfortable with it. Yes, I am extremely sexual but I do not want to go some place where it is expected. Not sure if that makes sense. I could be wrong however on the tone.
I do know that I have met several people from lit within the last year. Several of them took me in while I was in Europe and I will always be grateful towards them for that.
After the World Trade Center I started a thread called NYC vicinity area (unfortunatley I spelled the title wrong in post). Since then anybody from that area is welcome to attend any outings we have had. There have been serveral brave enough to show and to keep returning. You have to realize we are all insecure and the annoyminity here protects us. It is not easy to come out from behind the computer screen, but when you do it is worth it.
Perky so looking forward to seeing you again my friend on March 22 at Nouvelles. I just hope it is not cancelled, but I know we will figure something out. Seth said he might try to postpone his trip for the same weekend you are down. Yipee I get my drawing finally, but most importantly I get a hug from you.
Anybody from the nyc vicinity or planning to coming to the area drop me a line. Again it has not been for a sex thing, but it is liberating to talk to others openly and to be among creative people. A way to make friends and see where it goes from there.
