What does this mean?

When I looked at my story submission page, my current pending submission went from pending with a clickable link to pending with plain text. My other submissions had gone from pending with link to approved with link. Or rejected with link where I could see why and fix it. Not that I wanted to click the pending link, just curious if it means something.

Means your story will be up first thing tomorrow morning.

Sometimes you see it ahead of time like that, other times as you said it just goes active.

Functionally, this means the story is in the stage of process that it's been reviewed and is waiting to post. When the link goes black like that, it's beyond your pulling it back to redo/edit it. Up until that time you could have, although it would have thrown the waiting time back to the beginning of the process. I assume it also means the story isn't going to be rejected--that's it's now been accepted to post.
