Hi,

I'm a new member here and i shortly going to work on a series of loosely connected stories under the banner 'Blonde & Silicone'. My characters will primarily be what may be termed Blonde Bimbos. Now i have an idea of what a character would look and be like with that description but because i intend to write a series (and tihs being an international site), i wondered if people had different ideas about the term 'Blonde Bimbo' and what kind of woman that conjures in their mind. I'm hoping that this will help diversify my characters. Please feel free to describe in as much detail as you like what this term makes you think of and if you can (it would be very helpful), if you can include a picture or link of someone or an image that symbolises what you understand as a Blonde Bimbo. Here in Ireland i would currently think of someone like Katie Price, Pamela Anderson, or Courtney Stodden. I look forward to reading your replies. Thanks.

In America, the term is usually associated with a southern California type, tanned skin, huge tits (most likely fake), revealing clothes, sexy demeanor... and equally as important, not too bright and kind of ditzy.

Exactly the description that fits many of the women in the London area particularly Essex. Or most other places in the UK. Although not all blondes are bimbo’s.

Dolly Parton interview.

Don’t you object to being called a dumb blonde? No. Cos I ain’t blonde and I ain’t dumb.

How long does it take to do your hair? I don’t know. I ain’t there.

Bimbo: an attractive woman, easily underestimated.

I associate the term "Bimbo" with a woman of low intelligence, i.e. a negative term. Unlike "Slut", which I associate with a woman of great sexual hunger, i.e. a term of endearment. Admittedly, slut is often used a derogatory slur, but I think that should change.

My first association of the word now is with the Mexican bread brand.
