In my second command, i had a HQ company with male and female soldiers. We did PT three times a week. All of them were bored out of their gourd with the PT program, and a few of the NCOs asked me to spice it up. Be careful what you wish for ... Mondays were a quick situp/pushup go for a 3 mile run day. Fridays were a half mile run to a field to play full tilt Ultimate Frisbee for 45 minutes. Wednesdays, however, were pay the Devil his due. We'd run a modified interval two mile oval, the first 100 meters at normal double time then build to a sprint until the 400m mark. At each interval, we'd do some sort of calisthenic exercise for about 5 minutes, then quickly form up and take off on the next interval run. Hello Dolly's. flutter kicks, Roman Chair sit ups and the elevated push up became dread favorites.

Modified the Roman Chairs for the environment. In the gym, they look like

Outdoors, you have a partner on hands and knees for a chair. Your ass is on their shoulder blades, with your feet locked between their thighs, or wrapped around their wrists.
