What do you watch on Netflix?

If you love sports, is it possible to dump cable tv and just get your TV on the internet and places like Netflix, etc?

I don't think it free on the TV. Maybe on the internet

Or if you have Comcast many of the shows mentioned are on demand for free.

It's no big deal. What does it cost....10 bucks a month?

I'm just surprised everyones watching re runs.

Its On Demand and it ain't free. Besides, cable makes you buy the whole package, so its more like $100+ a month. Showtime had a movie on last night from the 80's , I mean really, what a ripoff. True Blood, ? not worth a $100+ a month

If I didnt like sports, NFL or the NBA playofffs, I'd cancel my cable and just do Netflix to catch up on various shows, could do without HGTV or Bravo...

Besides, without TV, I might actually read a book or two

All those horrible 'B' movies...

like God Bless America. It was actually quite funny.
The Warrior's Way - it was actually good.

Then all the regulars...

Torchwood
Doctor Who
Eureka
Warehouse 13
The Glades
Firefly
Sherlock
Kyle XY
the Jesse Stone movies...(Netflix should get them all)
etc.
etc.

Watching something called Maron on IFC, not bad....

FDR: American Badass was kinda cute/funny. Sorta.
I gave up on TNG. Fuck all that shit. Got a couple seasons in and decided I've seen enough.
Gonna start on Burn Notice because I'm a huge Bruce Campbell fan and for some reason have never seen the show.
Already mentioned but John Dies At The End is pretty good.

Currently, Monarch of the Glen, and A Touch of Frost. Previously watched Doc Martin. Their movie selection sucks.

Long way round with Ewan Kanobi..I mean McGregor ...motorcycling around the world documentary...a little slow, but interesting.

When I had it, I watched some horror movies that I never bother to see at theaters.

When I had it, I watched a lot of Italian neo-realist films from the '40s, '50s and '60s. "La strada", "The Bicycle Thief", "La Dolce Vita", etc.

i know there have been several Netflix threads but I'm curious what everyone is watching on Netflix?

I am watching Star Trek: Voyager, one episode a day.

House of Cards
Orange is the new Black

The horror recommendations always end up being pretty good, at least for me. Lots of stuff I've never seen.

Longmire is good, the books are fantastic.

I finished watching Copper, and am now watching Burn Notice.

I saw a preview at the movies; hadn't heard of it before. It is good, and I've got the books on my Kindle. One of these days...

Those shows are in my queue, along with House of Cards and Orange.

What am I watching on Netflix?

Same TIme Next Year with Alan Alda... great film about a couple who meet and agree that each year they will meet again.

Someone special asked if I'd seen it... and as I watched it later, she and I carried on an online conversation about the storyline and what was happening. That is the best way to watch a movie (if you can't be with the one you love)!

I can't stand people who talk during movies

We've got West Wing going and Bluey wanted to see the beginning of Mad Men, as she's only seen it since living here. I watched all of Weeds this summer over about 2 weeks. We've watched some good and some bad movies. I watch Classic Albums fairly often. I watched the Acheivers recently. It's a great documentary about Lewbowski Fest. The Theramin and Moog documentaries are great.

But, the absolute BEST (and by best I mean greatness in its complete terribleness) thing has been Linda and Abeline. 2 words...Erotic Western
