Swearing isn't a requirement, but I can't stand being around people who feel the need to tell me how to speak, and why I shouldn't cuss.

I'm an adult and I'll be foul if I wanna.

I don't think anyone here is telling you how to talk, just answering a question about the behavior they expect from others and why.

I am a strong proponent of free speech, but at the same time I don't agree with everything that is said. I am not about to tell you what you can and cannot say, but I might let you know what I think about it if it becomes excessive or is innappropriate - and you could then feel free to tell me to go fuck myself.

Excessive? How could anything be excessive after you smashed the shit out of your fucking thumb? Every time I hit my thumb I'm grateful if I can just get my level of profanity to reach "adequate".

Since I started the thread, I might as well post my opinin too.


It doesn't bother me, unless it's excessive, or inapporpriate.

Such as every other word being a cuss word. Or cussing around children. (Or my parents! )
