If There Was A Landlord Award, Then I Would Give It My Wondeful Landlady And Lord:D

Washer Is Broke?

NEW ONE!

Fridge Is Broke?

LOL

After Having A Whole Slew Of Asshole, Never Fix Anything, Treat Us Like Shit Landpeople, Here Shining From The Lands Of Hong Kong Are My Perfectly Wonderful Landpeople!:D

Tell Me Bout Yours!

They Suck R What?

I Once Had A Landlady That Was So Horrid That I Almost Pushed Her Down The Stairs Of Death!

I live in a place that used to be owned by a retired couple. They were GREAT! If something was broken, it got fixed. We asked if we could get a dog but they didn't want us to get one so he felt guilty and bought a toy dog for our daughter. They were GREAT!

They sold it to a real estate broker and we've barely seen him since then. He was supposed to shut off the water pipes last fall (it's a duplex) and he didn't and a pipe burst. Once the water was flowing through the burst pipe I knew which one was supposed to have been turned off and turned it off then.

That pipe still hasn't been fixed and we're now having problems with a light fixture. I feel like I'm playing freaking Where's Waldo with his ass...

Didja Get Flooded Out?

LOL No, some water just sprayed outside. Until it's fixed, we have no outside hose. Not a HUGE deal, but it's sure nice to be able to water the lawn and spray your kid when it's hot.

I Guess Everybody Owns Their Place

It's A Nice New Refrigerator!

A Little Small, But It Works:D

As a resident apartment manager, I try to fix things myself right away or at least as soon as they bother to tell me something is broken. If it isn't something I can do myself I let them know when the repair person will be there.

I treat my tenants like I would want to be treated...

Classic Landlord:

In January, my toilet was "running." I phoned twice, no one came out. Yes, I am a woman. Yes, I knew that the stopper thingy needed adjustment or replacing. Yes, I did the best I could.

Finally, ex husb fixed it by shoving the stopper thingy into place. We noticed that it was malfunctioning because some thingamabobs were broken.

This month, Classic Landlord calls and rants that our water bill had quintupled. Did I have a leaky faucet?

:p Jerk!

Then, he checks the toilet, tell me my ex did a great job fixing it and left.

Geesh!

BTW...he hates me as much as I hate him!

Our landlord is pretty cool, never had any problems with them. We had a pipe start leaking Saturday evening and he was over here about an hour later looking at it. Sunday he came over and fixed it.
I do however wish my refrigerator would break so we could get a new one!! LOL

My current landlord would win the "Prick" award. April 1st he came by and shut off the heat, claiming that he didn't have to provide it anymore (I fixed that about a week ago). Our window got shot out by the people across the street over a month ago, he still hasn't done anything about it. We have a trashbag as a window now... The downstairs neighbors play loud offensive music at all hours (and as far as offensive goes, comming from me and my musical intrests, that says a lot). Gur. Some times I just want to tie him up and shoot him with frozen paintballs.

We live in a huge apartment village type thing. So I don't have any personal opinions of the folks who run the place. But the managements pretty nice.

The Best Landlord

I've had the same landlord for better than 10 years now. My rent has only gone up $50 in a decade. The one time that I had a problem, it was fixed the same week. On top of that he is my attorney! Or he was, now he's a judge! Mr. Landlord dude, you rock!

They are a bunch of fucking idiots!

My first month here at this apartment building, around the 15th I get a notice, a warning slipped underneath my door.

It seems they believed I was short $100 my first month's rent...

HELLO! What's wrong with this picture? How can you be short your first month's rent when you pay it all, along with the deposit upfront.

Idiots.

Needless to say I showed them the err of their ways.

My current Landlord is my grandparents, so yay for me. Back when I had my apartment, my land persons where always helpful and friendly, even though I didn't pay much rent compared to some of the other properties. I always paid on time though and got my shit out of there the second I couldn't pay, so we are still on good terms. :)

My mother's landlady is unfortunately, a giant twit. She takes forever to cash rent checks so my mom never knows how much she really has in the bank, and she never fixes anything. She just stands around and hems and haws like a twit. Mom always pays her rent too.

The worst person I have ever known was a landlord, although I was never one of his tenants praise anyone listening. Never fixed anything, charged insane prices for rent, expected free labor from his tenants, and could never be found when they had a problem, but kicked them out the minute they were a day late with payments. He kicked a little old lady out when her Social Security ran late.

My first landlord was horrible. He was a complete chauvanist. We lived in a basement apartment. If there were any issues, he would never speak to me. He would always tell me to have my husband call him. While we were there, he would go away on month long vacations, leaving us no way to contact him or someone else in case of problems. He would complaing if we left our windows open.

He knew the day we were moving out and decided to have a garage sale the same day to make out move more difficult.

While living there, his poor wife had to go through chemo. He went to the hosipital with the iron board, the iron, and his shirts so that his poor sick wife could iron his shirts. Total PIG!

Our current landlord is very nice. Coincidentally, she is also going through chemo but her husband isn't a big old ass like our old landlord.

RNAB?

where the hell have you been girl?

My landlord is great. No problems here whatsoever. He has offered to deduct any money I spend on landscaping from my rent, asks every time he calls if I need anything. EVEN said he'd kick out my neighbors if they caused me problems. :) (I live in a duplex)
