What do you get out of bed in the morning for?

I'm so sorry about your friend.

My motivation to get up in the morning? To try and make a difference in a bunch of 5 and 6 year old's lives.

Is this associate of yours an associate BECAUSE of what he got busted for?

I am very sorry for your loss either way.
I don't know about your future being filled with good reasons to get up each day, but maybe it is time to look at other paths in life.

Again, I am sorry. However, I've lost several friends to O.D's on heroin so I don't hold much esteem for those who traffic the shit, but a life is a life. I am sorry theirs ended under such horrible circumstances.

We all make our choices in life, and we all pay for them in one way or another.

I'm sorry about your friend, TSK. I think suicide was a poor choice. I don't hate him for dealing. People make the choice to do drugs. If they die because of it, it's their fault, not the dealers...just as it's his fault that he was busted. He knew what he was doing was illegal, and that getting busted was a risk he took.

I think these arbitrary drug laws (alcohol & tobacco are legal, pot & cocaine are not) are government inflicting a certain morality on the populace. At the same time, as the kid of an alcoholic, I've seen that legal drugs can ruin lives just as easily as illegal drugs. True, it's not the substance that's the problem - it's the person using it. But at the risk of sounding like a dorky nerdy dumbass, I personally believe we'd all be a lot happier if we'd all stick to natural highs like sex & food & swimming in the ocean, and quit fucking with our own body chemistry.

Gee. I've detoxed people off the stuff he was busted with and I have watched others die from it. I have trouble being sympathetic.

Exactly what I was thinking.

Babble babble babble.

Both seem to capture my thoughts. I too am sorry that your friend committed suicide, but he made choices.
