What do you do when you catch someone looking?

If you are going by and notice a stranger looking at you, what do you do?

Avert your eyes? Act cool and indifferent? Smile and wink? Say hello?

And what do you do when you're caught looking at someone? Get uncomfortable? Smile back?

I always wonder why guys are looking at me, I mean I think I know, but am never sure. If I look back and smile, isn't it up to them to say something if they're interested? If I look back and they get embarassed, I have to wonder why they're looking.

It is simple, you see a good looking woman, you look. If she carries herself well, has confidence, (a tight sweater) , you get caught

I smile....and then after hearing your sexy voice say hi;)

Looking at attractive women is a natural form of recreation for guys -- it doesn't mean we are necessarily in a place to want to do anything about it. I frequently see women where I think: "nice, but not for me", or the equivalent thereof.

Beyond that, men differ as women differ. Many men are shy initially, and women have different reactions to being approached. The exact same look can be interpreted by a woman as hot chemistry or disgusting leering -- depending on whether she likes the looks of the guy or not.

Some women are more interested in the guys who do not immediately drop everything to hit on them, than the guys who do.

I've done every reaction you talk about, both when looking and getting looked at. All depends on the specifics, and where I am at then. It can be a delightful game though, can't it? ;)

I make prolonged eye contact, and smile very slowly and shyly, then look away. Ask the folks I met in Chicago, I did it to all of them.

I'm looking at that hot and sexy AV of yours again, Trish...

What are you going to do? ;)

Always, always blow a very obvious kiss to any woman who looks at me. Usually brings out a laugh in both of us. :) :)

LOL....what is your neck stiff or what??

Right, I'll give you that tc. But if it's a stranger on the street, or in Quizzno's getting your lunch, you may never see them again. Why not speak up?

If someone smiles at me, and I smile back, I think the next move is up to the guy to say something. Maybe this is why I have trouble getting dates? Heh

Yup...the whole dance depends on whether she likes the looks of the guy or not

The next time that happens, try maintaining eye contact, while leaning forward to show that spectacular cleavage of yours, and slowly licking your lips.

I think the date thing will take care of itself... :D

I love it when men notice my shirt is unbuttoned a couple buttons too far..or my skirt is not long enough when I bend over to pick something up.

Grocery stores, malls..etc. Shopping gets me hot.
JL:kiss:

First I look at them, then I panic, then I try to look away, then I try to look back at them, and then I panic some more. Usually it ends with me screaming.

I'm a bad tease, I mean good, good tease.

Hey Sillyman, don't be shy, or screaming. Has anyone actually ever really had their head snapped off just for smiling at someone or saying hi? I'd love to hear true life stories.

I'm off to work dammit, have a great day everyone :)

I have that whole "Strangers want to rape and eat you" mindset that our parents so lovingly crammed into the heads of my generation. Answering the door gives me heart failure. I can barely order food in a restuarant. I get the shakes asking for more peanuts on a flight. :(

it depends, on how the person is looking, if they just look and walk away i dont pay it no mind, but if they stare and get an attitude i try to ignore it but inside i want to ask what their problem is, if its a normal like hello type look, i just smile and be on my way
